If I’m honest, most nights I forget I’m a DJ.  I feel more like I’m just playing some records for some mates and telling them why that particular track is so amazing.  I like to add a bit of fun trivia, chart history or just a personal story about the impact of the band or song in my life.  My excitement about music, whether it’s on the radio or at a live show has been a constant. I know a song can fill you with memories, emotions and sometimes turn your day around.

The songs we play at Z94.3 are the soundtrack to most of our lives. We either remember hearing them because our parents or older siblings played them or we remember when they were released.  No matter what age you are, you remember when you first discovered the Beatles or the Doors, often feeling like you understood the music in a way no one else had before you - ha ha. I hope that each night I can help my listeners share the joyful journey that only great music can take you on. So that is how I feel about my show, let me tell you a little bit about me.

I have lived half of my life in England and half of it in the USA. I honestly consider both countries my home. Outside of spending my time listening to music or music podcasts, I like to take my very cheeky Cavapoo Murray on long walks, drink buckets of tea while attempting a bit of writing and read a variety of books (my favorite genres being historical fiction, mysteries and anything to do with vampires).

I love tennis, indian food, ice cream and attempt but often fail at gardening.
